It was announced yesterday that the Browns had signed Free Agent WR Nate Burleson to one year deal. Burleson who struggled the last two years in Detroit with health will give the Browns a veteran presence on the outside and the mentorship they were hoping to get from Davone Bess last year. This mentorship will be important as he has more years experience than the top receivers have put together. He also gives them a better no.2 receiver to help distract from Gordon and Cameron with new addition Hawkins also helping in the slot. This is also the second time in two seasons that he will be playing opposite the leading receiver from the previous year. Burleson also gained notoriety last year for crash his car while trying to save a pizza which fell off his seat and broke his arm which cost 9 games. Presumably all pizza in training camp will be on him.
